Case Narrative

Bill Brandt of DSI serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of Sonoma Valley Bancorp, a bank holding company whose banking subsidiary, Sonoma Valley Bank, was placed into FDIC Receivership in August 2010.  Sonoma Valley Bank was a three-branch banking entity, with total assets of approximately $315 million, operating in Sonoma, California.  Following the seizure of its operating bank subsidiary, this bank holding company has determined to wind up its affairs and dissolve under a California state law corporate proceeding.  Mr. Brandt was appointed in June 2012 as the Chief Administrative Officer of this bank holding company and charged with the conduct and oversight of the corporate dissolution process.  In connection with DSI’s role in this matter, DSI will wind up all of the outstanding affairs of this bank holding company, oversee and participate, as necessary, in the resolution of the remaining litigation involving the Directors and Officers, deal with all remaining regulatory authorities and thereafter distribute any net proceeds realized to the creditors of the bank holding company as required under applicable state law.
