Case Narrative

DSI was retained as a financial consultant to assist AmeriKing, Inc. with the preparation and implementation of its company restructuring. At the time, AmeriKing was the second largest Burger King franchisee, operating approximately 373 restaurants throughout much of the United States with concentrations in the Midwest and South. DSI’s role was to assist the company with the planning process and implementation of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring. DSI prepared cash flows, the Statement of Financial Affairs and Bankruptcy Schedules, monthly operating reports, key employee retention plan, in addition to providing logistical support to the company prior to and throughout the restructuring process.
